Pick-N-Pluck foam, standard in most cases, may be one of the coolest things about owning a Pelican Case. The customizable foam that ships with your Pelican Case consists of a layer of convoluted foam for the lid, a 1 inch layer to pad the bottom of the case and then between one and four layers of Pick-N-Pluck foam. This innovative foam system allows you to customize the interior of your case according to the gear you need to protect.

How does it work?
It's easy: layers of foam are pre-scored into tiny cubes. All you need to do is measure and layout your gear and then start plucking away. There are three easy steps for customizing the interior of your Pelican case.
Step #1
Lay your item onto the foam black and outline with a marker or chalk. Chalk works best since it’s easier to see.
Step #2
Start removing the foam cubes following your part outline.
Step #3
Place the customized foam back into your case and call it a day.

Tip: We’ve found that by placing the foam into the freezer for 15-20 minutes before removing the cubes makes it even easier. Give it a try.
